Key Responsibilities:
• The individual in this role is accountable for establishing and maintaining partnerships with Application Development and Production Ensure the appropriate instrumentation, tooling, ticketing, alerting and on call routines are in place for key services. This role demonstrates the ability to decompose issues or objectives into units of work that can be assigned to other team members.
• Has the knowledge and expertise of supporting production environments, and associated maintenance, change, control, incident and problem management.
• Has demonstrated expertise in application/infrastructure/software design across multiple technologies. Can identify opportunities for platform improvements
• Has demonstrated ability to design and develop significant components within an application. Designs architecture and drives optimal solutions using established design patterns and principles.
• Ensures design reviews, code reviews and compliance with bank standards for information security and infrastructure standards.
• Ability to perform or support continuous integration and deployment activities with understanding of DevOps and observability.
• Leads adoption of emerging technologies for On-prem, Cloud, and Hybrid architectures.
• Provides technical guidance for platform engineers and collaborates with solution architects to ensure consistent design across platform components.
• Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource able to coordinate dependencies across platform teams and teams working on business capabilities. Facilitates collaboration within and across teams. Go to person for consultation from others.
• Makes recommendations and ensures platform easily supports NFRs across multiple LOB initiatives and anticipated growth over 5 years.
• Demonstrates the ability to identify more complex problems that cross several infrastructure domains and gather data and insights from others. Demonstrates the ability to assess issues identified by others and update the mental model of software and infrastructure services.
**This role requires 3 days per week onsite in Jersey City, NJ or Charlotte, NC
Job Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 5+ years of experience building and maintaining applications with focus on performance, observability, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Minimum 5+ years experience overseeing enterprise grade platform solutions.
• Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong experience in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Mule, web Services, Kafka, SQL & PL/SQL (Oracle)
• Strong knowledge of XML, JSON and its usage within API and Microservice implementations at scale.
• Significant expertise in cloud-native deployment using OpenShift, Kubernetes or any one the container platform.
• Experience using leading app servers and integration technologies like Mule ESB, Any point Platform, MQ, Kafka.
• Experience in Splunk, Dynatrace or AppDynamics (APM tools).
• Proven ability to leverage knowledge of infrastructure automation, DevOps, cloud technologies and platform architecture to build resilient, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Experience implementing best practices, optimizing performance, ensuring compliance with security standards, and providing leadership to the engineering team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to delve in low level details with a technical audience and explain concepts at a high level to a non-technical audience
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
