DevOps Engineer

abra professional services is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support software development activities, working closely with Development, Integration, and Infrastructure teams to manage CI/CD processes, automation, and deployments across complex technical environments.

This is a full-time position located in northern Israel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and processes.
• Work with Jenkins to manage builds, releases, and software versions.
• Work with Docker, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Manage deployments and installations in integration environments and at customer sites.
• Develop automation scripts and internal tools.
• Manage configuration, Source Code Management (SCM), software versions, and patches.
• Analyze logs and monitor system performance.
• Support integration environments, databases, and software labs.
• Collaborate closely with Software Development, Integration, IT, and Infrastructure teams.
• Support installations and troubleshoot technical issues, including activities at customer sites in Israel and abroad.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in DevOps and CI/CD processes – mandatory.
• Experience with Jenkins or equivalent CI/CD tools – mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container technologies – mandatory.
• Experience or strong familiarity with Kubernetes – mandatory.
• Scripting and automation skills – mandatory.
• Familiarity with Linux environments – mandatory.
• Understanding of Build, Release, and Deployment processes – mandatory.
• Troubleshooting skills in complex system environments – mandatory.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with Development and Integration teams – mandatory.
• Strong self-learning abilities and system-level understanding – mandatory.

Advantages:

• Software development background, particularly with Python, JavaScript, Node.js, or React – significant advantage.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar ALM tools.
