Job Description
Are you an experienced Apache Kafka DevOps Engineer looking for your next challenge? Join as in Lisbon and contribute to the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of a critical data streaming platform.
Your Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and evolve the Apache Kafka platform.
Work on cluster architecture, including Brokers, KRaft, replication, and min.insync.replicas.
Configure and manage Kafka Connect and Schema Registry using Avro and JSON.
Implement and maintain security controls, including mTLS and ACLs.
Optimize platform performance through JVM tuning, retention settings, and cleanup policies.
Manage storage solutions and Persistent Volumes.
Troubleshoot incidents and drive continuous platform improvement.
Requirements
Proven experience in Apache Kafka administration.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
Fluency in both Portuguese and English.
Excellent problem-solving and technical communication skills.
