DevOps Engineer, Level 3

ABOUT US

We build insurance software for complex, highly regulated healthcare environments, where a defect doesn't just fail a test, it can mean a denied claim, a coverage gap, or a compliance failure for the organizations that rely on us.

We partner closely with clients to evolve these systems in their real operating environments, not in isolation.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Join a high-impact engineering team where you'll play a key role in designing, automating, and optimizing the cloud infrastructure and delivery platforms that power our products and services. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll help shape secure, scalable, and reliable solutions across AWS and Azure while driving automation, platform modernization, CI/CD excellence, operational readiness, and cloud best practices.

This role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering. You'll partner closely with software developers, security, and technology teams to improve system performance, strengthen reliability, streamline deployments, and enhance the overall developer experience. Success requires balancing scalability, security, maintainability, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness while delivering practical solutions aligned with business priorities.

If you thrive on solving complex technical challenges, continuously improving systems and processes, and leveraging modern cloud, automation, and AI-enabled tools to deliver measurable business value, this role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact across the organization.

OUR DEVOPS ECOSYSTEM

You'll work in a modern cloud-native environment supporting innovative healthcare technology solutions. Our platform spans AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes and Docker container orchestration, Infrastructure as Code, and automated CI/CD pipelines. Partnering closely with software engineering teams, you'll help build and evolve scalable microservices-based platforms while driving automation, reliability, security, observability, and operational excellence.

Technologies include: AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Python, Java, React, Prometheus, Datadog, ELK, Jira, and Confluence.

WHAT MAKES SOMEONE GREAT HERE

• Ownership over task completion. You take responsibility for outcomes, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and operational impacts while driving initiatives through implementation and production support.
• Systems thinking. You understand how applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms, security, deployment pipelines, and business objectives connect, and you make decisions accordingly.
• Automation with purpose. You use Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and automation to improve reliability, scalability, consistency, and efficiency while avoiding unnecessary complexity.
• Judgment in ambiguity. You navigate complex problems, competing priorities, and evolving requirements with practical decision-making and a focus on business outcomes.
• Reliability mindset. You measure success not only by delivery speed, but by stability, observability, security, recoverability, and long-term maintainability.
• Team-first leadership. You share knowledge, mentor others, and help elevate engineering practices through collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
