This role provides the opportunity to solve complex cloud infrastructure challenges with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, automation, observability, cost optimization, and platform engineering at enterprise scale.

Position Overview

As a Platform Engineer (Junior / Senior / Lead), you will contribute to designing, implementing, and supporting cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps practices, and platform engineering solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve platform reliability, developer experience, automation, security, and operational excellence while ensuring highly available cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Crossplane, Helm Charts, or CloudFormation to provision and manage cloud resources. (Must Have)
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Security, and Infrastructure teams to define platform requirements, priorities, and architecture.
  • Partner with Development, Operations, and QA teams to streamline software delivery and improve release quality.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure, DevOps platforms, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure high availability, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Design and implement zero-downtime deployment and maintenance strategies for Kubernetes clusters and cloud infrastructure.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend modern DevOps tools and engineering best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering excellence across teams.
  • Enable engineering teams by providing reusable platform services, automation, and operational best practices.
  • Collaborate with Security teams to integrate security controls and DevSecOps best practices into infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
  • Document technical designs, architecture, operational procedures, and platform standards.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Eliminate operational toil by automating manual processes using modern tooling, AI-powered solutions, and agentic workflows.
  • Participate in a 12-hour on-call rotation to support production systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–10 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar role.
  • Strong experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Crossplane, Helm Charts, or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Experience with one or more cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Go, Python, or Bash.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
