We are seeking a Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure that powers enterprise applications and services. This role focuses on building secure, scalable, and highly available platform solutions using modern cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevSecOps best practices.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with container orchestration, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure, along with a passion for improving platform reliability, security, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise platform infrastructure supporting mission-critical applications and services
  • Build, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized application environments
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and management
  • Develop and maintain configuration management solutions using Ansible and Puppet
  • Administer and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments
  • Deploy, manage, and maintain Kubernetes applications using Helm
  • Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support automated application delivery
  • Implement DevSecOps best practices by integrating security throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle
  • Manage AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, roles, and permissions to ensure secure access to cloud resources
  • Monitor platform performance, availability, and security while identifying opportunities for optimization and automation
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, container, and deployment issues across development and production environments
  • Collaborate with software developers, security engineers, and operations teams to deliver scalable and reliable platform solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency


Required Qualifications
  • Must be fully cleared with a recent polygraph
  • Must be willing and able to work fully onsite at the location listed in this posting
  • Experience designing and supporting Kubernetes-based infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of DevSecOps principles and secure software delivery practices
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible and Puppet
  • Strong administration experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Experience deploying and managing applications using Helm
  • Experience with container management technologies and containerized application deployments
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience managing AWS IAM roles, policies, and security controls
  • Strong troubleshooting, automation, and infrastructure optimization skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional engineering teams


Desired Qualification
  • Kubernetes certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
  • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
  • DevSecOps or Infrastructure Automation certifications
  • Experience supporting large-scale cloud environments
  • Experience working with highly available, enterprise-grade production systems
  • Familiarity with cloud security, compliance, and infrastructure monitoring best practices
