Senior Manager, Platform Engineering (AWS/DevOps) - Hybrid

Aeroflow Health is a national leader in home medical equipment and clinical services. We combine technology, operational excellence, and compassionate expertise to deliver essential products and care directly to patients’ homes. At Aeroflow Health, we make healthcare accessible by taking a holistic approach to how we care for our patients.

We are equally passionate about taking care of our employees. Recognized as one of the fastest-growing healthcare companies in the U.S., an Inc. 5000 honoree, and a certified Great Place to Work®, Aeroflow continues to seek ways to be one of the nation’s top employers. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to building an exceptional workplace where talented professionals are empowered, supported, and inspired to make a meaningful impact every day.

The Opportunity

Within Aeroflow, the Product Delivery Platform Engineering team builds and operates the systems, tooling, infrastructure, observability platforms, and automation capabilities that enable engineering teams to deliver software quickly, securely, and reliably at scale.

This team supports Ecommerce Product Engineering, Internal Product Engineering, and Innovation Engineering by providing the delivery platform, cloud infrastructure standards, observability capabilities, deployment systems, and operational guardrails that allow teams to move quickly without increasing risk.

As the Senior Manager, Product Delivery Platform Engineering (DevOps / AWS), you will lead the team responsible for building and operating the engineering platform that powers software delivery across the organization.

This is not a traditional infrastructure operations or ticket-based DevOps leadership role. This role owns the platform and developer enablement systems that make scalable, reliable, and auditable software delivery possible.

Your Primary Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Product Delivery Platform Engineering (DevOps / AWS). This role is responsible for leading the Product Delivery Platform Engineering team and ensuring engineering teams have the systems, tooling, and operational capabilities required to build and operate software effectively at scale.

Engineering Delivery Platform
  •  Design, build, and operate the platform capabilities that enable teams to build, deploy, and run software efficiently
  •  Establish delivery systems that are repeatable, low-risk, reliable, and auditable
  •  Drive platform strategy, standards, and adoption across engineering teams
  •  Continuously improve engineering effectiveness through automation and standardization
CI/CD & Delivery Enablement
  •  Develop and maintain standardized deployment pipelines for internal applications, ecommerce products, and shared services
  •  Establish reusable infrastructure and deployment patterns using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, SST, Terraform, and related technologies
  •  Improve deployment reliability, consistency, auditability, and delivery velocity
  •  Reduce friction throughout the software development lifecycle
Developer Experience & Platform Enablement
  •  Create tools, templates, automation, and self-service capabilities that improve developer productivity
  •  Simplify onboarding, service creation, deployment, and operational workflows
  •  Partner with engineering teams to improve adoption of platform capabilities and best practices
  •  Ensure platform services accelerate delivery rather than create operational overhead
Cloud Governance & Security
  •  Own IAM strategy and access patterns across cloud environments
  •  Establish secure-by-default infrastructure and deployment standards
  •  Ensure platform practices align with HIPAA, HITRUST, and internal security requirements
  •  Maintain operational auditability and change traceability
Observability & Reliability
  •  Own Aeroflow’s centralized Datadog platform and observability strategy
  •  Manage platform standards for monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and operational visibility
  •  Establish instrumentation standards across applications and infrastructure
  •  Improve incident detection, troubleshooting, and production reliability
  •  Ensure systems are measurable and aligned to uptime and performance goals
Cloud Cost Visibility & Optimization
  •  Implement cloud cost governance and monitoring practices
  •  Provide visibility into infrastructure utilization and service-level cost drivers
  •  Partner with Engineering and Finance to improve cost efficiency and operational transparency
  •  Support data-driven infrastructure investment decisions
Team Leadership
  •  Lead and develop a team of Product Delivery Platform Engineers responsible for cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, platform automation, and developer enablement
  •  Establish clear expectations around platform reliability, developer experience, operational excellence, and accountability
  •  Coach team members and support career development
  •  Build a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, collaboration, and execution
AI-Assisted Engineering
  •  Evaluate and standardize AI-assisted development capabilities across engineering teams
  •  Establish security, compliance, and quality guardrails for AI-assisted engineering workflows
  •  Partner with engineering leadership to improve productivity while maintaining operational standards
  •  Measure the impact of AI adoption on engineering effectiveness and delivery outcomes
Compliance Responsibilities
  •  Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies
  •  Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance
  •  Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality
  •  Regular and reliable attendance as assigned by your schedule
  •  Other job duties assigned
