About the Role:
Innovative Tech Solutions Inc is looking for a talented and driven Site Reliability Engineer to join their team onsite in Chantilly, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you'll play a critical role in keeping mission-critical systems running at peak performance. Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available infrastructure and systems
  • Monitor system performance and reliability using observability tools and dashboards
  • Respond to and resolve incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tooling to reduce toil and improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate SRE best practices into the software development lifecycle
  • Define and track SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets to ensure service reliability standards are met
  • Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to continuous improvement of incident response processes

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in scripting and automation languages such as Python, Bash, or Go
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible), and version control systems
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk
  • Strong understanding of networking, Linux systems administration, and distributed systems
  • Ability to work fully onsite 5 days per week in Chantilly, VA
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure
