Job Description

DevOps Engineer

Make an impact on an international payments product by keeping Cash Pooling reliable, secure and ready for change across multiple environments.

You & your role

As DevOps Engineer, you know the secrets of keeping business-critical technology reliable, secure and ready for change. You deploy and operate the Cash Pooling application, develop integrations, improve automation and investigate technical issues. You connect the wider technical picture with practical solutions, working with engineers, architecture, product, the vendor and internal specialists to turn technical priorities into implementable solutions and backlog items.

Examples from practice

• Deploy and install vendor-delivered software safely across acceptance and production environments.
• Develop and improve squad-owned adapters that connect the Cash Pooling application to the wider payments landscape.
• Troubleshoot and improve deployment pipelines, while automating certificate management where possible.

Facts & figures

• 36 hours per week.
• Salary scale 8 or 9, depending on the technical depth, autonomy and relevant experience you bring.
• Over 48,000 Rabobank colleagues worldwide.

Top 3 responsibilities

• Ensure reliable deployment and day-to-day operation across environments, while resolving incidents and improving operational resilience.
• Own deployment pipelines and operational automation, troubleshooting problems independently and improving existing processes and solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations while managing certificates, security topics and recovery procedures for production systems.

You also take ownership of defined technical topics from investigation to implementation. This includes supporting testing, working with the vendor and specialists, analysing root causes and preparing technical options for review with the Solution Architect.

Together we achieve more than alone

We believe in the power of differences. By combining people's differences, we become an even better bank. We're curious about what you'll bring to our team at Squad CAVA.

The members of Squad CAVA are responsible for the operation and technical readiness of the Cash Pooling solution within Rabobank's international payments landscape. Work on yourself & the world around you

For us, your development and that of society go hand in hand. That's why we want to invest in you and work together to create a better world. We summarize this in one sentence: "at Rabobank, you work on yourself and the world around you simultaneously."

This is reflected in your personal development budget, our hybrid work environment, and a good work-life balance. You can also work on banking matters for our personal and business clients, as well as on social issues like the food and energy transitions.

We do this step by step, paying attention to what’s going well and to the areas where we can continue to improve. By being open to different perspectives, we’re creating an environment where colleagues feel heard. That helps us build an organization where people enjoy working and where we truly understand and serve our customers.

You & your talent
