You will build and run the physical and virtual infrastructure of a production data center: servers, storage, network and the facility systems around them.
What you will do
Rack, cable, configure and decommission servers, storage and network gear
Administer Linux hosts and VMware or KVM virtualization clusters
Operate the network layer: switching, routing (BGP), firewalls and out-of-band management
Monitor power, cooling and capacity through DCIM and work with facilities on changes
Handle hardware incidents, firmware upgrades and vendor RMAs
Automate provisioning with Ansible and PXE or Redfish tooling
Follow change management and keep documentation and asset records current
What you bring
4+ years in data center or infrastructure operations
Strong Linux administration and server hardware knowledge (Dell, HPE, Supermicro)
Networking fundamentals at CCNA level or above
Scripting in Bash or Python
Availability for rotating shifts and physical work in a data hall
Nice to have
GPU or high-density deployments, including liquid cooling
CCNP, RHCE or CDCP certification
Experience in Tier III or Tier IV facilities
