We are seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with development and operations teams to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines that streamline software delivery and enhance collaboration. You will be at the forefront of Kubernetes orchestration, deploying and managing containerized applications at scale, while also helping us migrate infrastructure into the AWS cloud environment. Your expertise will be crucial in building and maintaining secure, scalable infrastructure solutions that align with best practices and ensure high availability, performance, and security.

Qualifications:

Ten (10) years' experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required.

A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional system administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Extensive experience in DevOps practices with a focus on automation, continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and cloud-native technologies.

Strong knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration, including experience in managing, deploying, and scaling containerized applications in production environments.

Expertise in AWS services and architecture, with a strong understanding of cloud security and cost optimization.

Proficiency in Linux server security and administration, with hands-on experience in hardening, patching, and troubleshooting.

Solid experience in managing Windows servers, including patching, troubleshooting, and security measures.

Hands-on experience in Docker administration, including container creation, management, deployment, and troubleshooting in development and production environments.

Experience in the lifecycle management of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) certificates, including renewal and replacement processes.

In-depth understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) for automating build, test, and deployment pipelines.

Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management of Windows-based systems and infrastructure.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational problems independently, with a focus on automation and scalability.

Current understanding of best practices for implementing system security measures in cloud-based and on-premises environments.
The estimated salary range for this position is between $130,000- $190,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors, such as location, the individual’s education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
